The presentation introduced classroom practices that incorporate AI-supported kamishibai storytelling and digital storytelling in university English courses for non-native English speakers. It also reported on the pedagogical potential of applying the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework to design lessons that foster students’ critical thinking, creativity, and digital literacy skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u672c\u767a\u8868\u3067\u306f\u3001\u975e\u82f1\u8a9e\u6bcd\u8a9e\u8a71\u8005\u3092\u5bfe\u8c61\u3068\u3057\u305f\u5927\u5b66\u82f1\u8a9e\u6388\u696d\u306b\u304a\u3044\u3066\u3001AI\u3092\u6d3b\u7528\u3057\u305f\u7d19\u829d\u5c45\uff08\u304b\u307f\u3057\u3070\u3044\uff09\u578b\u30b9\u30c8\u30fc\u30ea\u30fc\u30c6\u30ea\u30f3\u30b0\u304a\u3088\u3073\u30c7\u30b8\u30bf\u30eb\u30fb\u30b9\u30c8\u30fc\u30ea\u30fc\u30c6\u30ea\u30f3\u30b0\u3092\u53d6\u308a\u5165\u308c\u305f\u6388\u696d\u5b9f\u8df5\u3092\u7d39\u4ecb\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u307e\u305f\u3001Universal Design for Learning\uff08UDL\uff09\u30d5\u30ec\u30fc\u30e0\u30ef\u30fc\u30af\u3092\u5fdc\u7528\u3057\u3001\u5b66\u7fd2\u8005\u306e\u6279\u5224\u7684\u601d\u8003\u529b\u3001\u5275\u9020\u6027\u3001\u304a\u3088\u3073\u30c7\u30b8\u30bf\u30eb\u30fb\u30ea\u30c6\u30e9\u30b7\u30fc\u3092\u80b2\u6210\u3059\u308b\u6388\u696d\u8a2d\u8a08\u306e\u53ef\u80fd\u6027\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u3082\u5831\u544a\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

My presentation was very well received by conference participants. In addition, I had the opportunity to attend a wide range of high-quality workshops and presentation sessions, making this a worthwhile professional development experience. I learned a great deal about cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI and machine learning. Furthermore, the conference provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen professional connections with educators from various regions across Asia as well as Japan. I recently submitted a paper to an academic journal based on my presentation at the 2026 TaiwanCALL and GloCALL International Conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u79c1\u306e\u767a\u8868\u306f\u3001\u5b66\u4f1a\u53c2\u52a0\u8005\u304b\u3089\u975e\u5e38\u306b\u9ad8\u3044\u8a55\u4fa1\u3092\u53d7\u3051\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u307e\u305f\u3001\u8cea\u306e\u9ad8\u3044\u30ef\u30fc\u30af\u30b7\u30e7\u30c3\u30d7\u3084\u767a\u8868\u30bb\u30c3\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u306b\u5e45\u5e83\u304f\u53c2\u52a0\u3059\u308b\u6a5f\u4f1a\u306b\u3082\u6075\u307e\u308c\u3001\u975e\u5e38\u306b\u6709\u610f\u7fa9\u306a\u5c02\u9580\u80fd\u529b\u958b\u767a\u306e\u7d4c\u9a13\u3068\u306a\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u751f\u6210AI\u3084\u6a5f\u68b0\u5b66\u7fd2\u306a\u3069\u306e\u6700\u5148\u7aef\u6280\u8853\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u3082\u591a\u304f\u306e\u77e5\u898b\u3092\u5f97\u308b\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u3055\u3089\u306b\u3001\u672c\u5b66\u4f1a\u306f\u30a2\u30b8\u30a2\u5404\u5730\u57df\u304a\u3088\u3073\u65e5\u672c\u306e\u6559\u80b2\u95a2\u4fc2\u8005\u3068\u306e\u5c02\u9580\u7684\u306a\u30cd\u30c3\u30c8\u30ef\u30fc\u30af\u3092\u5f37\u5316\u3059\u308b\u8cb4\u91cd\u306a\u6a5f\u4f1a\u3068\u306a\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u306a\u304a\u3001\u79c1\u306f2026\u5e74\u306eTaiwanCALL\u304a\u3088\u3073GloCALL\u56fd\u969b\u4f1a\u8b70\u3067\u306e\u767a\u8868\u5185\u5bb9\u306b\u57fa\u3065\u304d\u3001\u5b66\u8853\u8ad6\u6587\u3092\u5b66\u8853\u8a8c\u306b\u6295\u7a3f\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Another significant benefit of attending this conference was the chance to explore Taichung, the host city, and deepen my cultural understanding of Taiwan. Although Taichung is noticeably more bustling and less pedestrian-friendly than Taipei, I still found it an interesting city to visit. Overall, Taichung proved to be an excellent host city for an international academic conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
